Understand it. Improve it. Own it.
Your business depends on custom software that nobody fully understands anymore.
What we do
We help companies that depend on aging custom software understand it, fix what holds them back, and move to a better system they own and can run, maintain and move without us, one that makes their daily work faster and easier, without risk to their operations.
How it goes
- Understand. We read the system and we talk with the people who use it every day: the workarounds, the slow steps, the things they stopped asking for. The old system is not the problem. Not understanding it is.
- Rebuild and improve. In stages, and as a gain rather than the same software in newer technology: better logic, fewer dependencies, the features the team has been asking for, and the repetitive work automated so staff spend their time on the work that needs them.
- Hand off. You can run, maintain and move the system without us. You own the system built for you, and the general-purpose parts inside it come with a perpetual licence any other provider can use. The documentation you keep is the training material: we train your staff on it, and the same documentation lets you train new hires long after we are gone. More training is there if you want it. No lock-in.
Who it's for
Companies of roughly 20 to 300 people whose operations run on custom software. Quebec and Canada, in French or English.
Who we are
We are a Quebec practice. We are new, and the assessment is the low-risk way to find out whether we are useful to you: you get the written assessment whether or not you go further.
Start
Five short questions about your software, then a way to reach you. We reply within two business days.
- What is your software written in?
- Do you own the source code?
- Is anyone still there who worked on it?
- What is it stopping you from doing?
- How many people work at your company?
